Web graphics optimisation, almost free

I released Ignite 2 in 2000. That was a little while ago in software terms, but Ignite is still a very useful tool for web designers. The basic image technologies on the web haven't moved on very much in all this time.

Ignite sold well, but times change, and I'm now offering it almost free of charge.

Here's the deal.

You can use Ignite for 30 days without registering. Afterwards, you'll need to register and get a key to unlock Ignite so you can continue to use it. You can register earlier than 30 days if you want.

The key is 'free' but if you find Ignite useful on an ongoing basis, then I'd appreciate you sending me some money, via PayPal (credit cards accepted). Anything over £10 or $15 would be great -- just something which recognises the value Ignite has to you. But if it's worth less, send less.

Getting a key.

You can get a key in exchange for your email address and your permission to allow me to send you four emails:

  • The first will be sent immediately and contain your unlock key and a few hints and tips.
  • 60 days later you'll get another asking, very nicely, if you'd consider sending me some money.
  • The other two; well I only promise they'll be nice emails relevant to web graphics, and sent at least a month apart. It's possible I might never send you anything.
If ever I send you an email and it bounces or goes to an old account you never read, then you can consider your license to use Ignite revoked.

I think this is fair: a productivity tool for serious web designers for the time it takes to read a few emails.

But if you use Ignite regularly, please consider sending me some money. Whatever it's worth to you, large, small or tiny.

You can send it using PayPal, either in UK pounds or US dollars, whichever is more convenient for you, and use either a PayPal account or a credit card.
