Your cropping questions answered

How do I crop images?
You can crop your whole image and you can crop objects on the canvas.

To crop a bitmap object:
Double click on a bitmap object (an imorted image for example) or click Change cropping on Inspector when the bitmap is selected (square selection handles). This will add crop outlines to your source image. As you move your mouse over these crop outlines your pointer changes for a pair of scissors. Simply click and drag the crop outlines to cut the image the way that you wish, then click outside of the image to accept the change and make the transformation.

This will crop the bitmap object, so it can be moved to wherever you want on the canvas. It's most useful for cropping images when you're using Ignite to compose multiple images together.

Click on Fit canvas to objects on the Inspector to reduce the canvas (size of output image) to the minimum size necessary to fit all the objects.

To crop the entire image:
Click outside a frame so that just the frame is selected. The selection handles will be circular.

Drag a circular handle to change the size of the image. The image will be cropped to that size when you release the mouse button.
